ACSGRE adopts and promotes the concept of human security as a central pillar of our programs and intervention areas and advances the understanding and application of people-centered, multi-sectoral, comprehensive, context-specific, and prevention-oriented solutions to critical and pervasive human insecurities, building on the human security approach.
Small Arms and Light Weapons (SALW) and Human Security
ACSGRE is actively involved in small arms and light weapons advocacy initiatives in Africa with an aim of supporting and promoting the development of capacity for research and analysis in SALW issues.

Addressing SGBV is a significant, long-term development challenge. Recognizing the scale of the challenge, ACSGRE works with various development partners to develop strategies and sensitizes women on addressing S/GBV.
