Who We Are
Africa Centre for Security, Governance, and Research is a nonprofit organization with the aim of promoting peace and security across African countries.
What We Do
We work with other like-minded partners to resolve conflicts amongst countries and communities and promote the safety of residents.
What We Have Done
Over the years of our existence, we have conducted several successful peacekeeping missions across Africa through collaboration with our partners.
Our Impacts and Approach
ACSGRE conducts much of its work through collaborative approaches. Its team of experts consists of diverse professionals, researchers, and practitioners. The team draws its strength from civil society organizations, academia, and research institutions in the region and beyond, all bringing together a unique blend of qualifications, experiences, and capacities.
Some of the ACSGRE staff previously held senior positions in government and private sectors and are thus well-versed with the systems and structures that determine the regional socio-economic and political dynamics. There are those who have strengthened their skills through merging theory and practice in governance, peacebuilding, and conflict prevention from academia to operating within the wider civil society framework.

The Centre engages with government agencies, intergovernmental organizations, non-governmental organizations, private sector businesses, civil society organizations, academics, lawyers, journalists, and security and humanitarian professionals to tackle some of Africa’s most demanding problems.
